This weekend
Was out last weekend in the Barrie area and it sucked. Do you think the snow has brought some birds down. Thinking of trying again but wondering if it will be worth it

I also agree that until a skim of ice forms on Simcoe they will be very little birds around. I have seen a few larger flocks of geese but not like it normally it's . That was a few weeks ago with the colder weather.
Will post back when I start seeing them fly . Haven't seen many ducks yet . Our house is a like a flight path always flying over to the lake year after year.

Thanks for the info. I kind of figured that we need some more severe weather to the North before things get moving. My son has rejuvenated my love of duck hunting so I am trying new spots and trying to figure things out. So this info sure helps me out

yet there is a flock of maybe 200+ geese in front of my place in Richmond hill right now ... what a tease lol
yesterday north east side of simcoe had some [I Think Diving] ducks, less than before though.
hope the snow today pushes them south towards us.
