Look up the definition of ' mandatory'. Restrictions on your travel without it, does not make it mandatory. In LTC care they strongly encourage staff to get the flu shot every year. They even brought the heath department into the home on numerous occasions before flu season to administer it to staff, we usually had around 90% compliance. Not mandatory, but if the home had an outbreak of the flu, you could not work at that home until the outbreak was over, unless you had your flu shot.

I am going to wait for the more traditional vaccine to be available before I roll up my sleeve. I have been getting the flu shot for years without these side effects. Other companies are working at rolling one out. Looks like the body does not like nano particles injected into it. The idea behind getting a vaccine is to avoid getting sick. No telling what the long term outcome will be.

It is sad how generations forget past mistakes. Here is one example.....thalidomide.
    https://www.dana-farber.org/newsroom...birth-defects/

"Other transient side effects would likely affect even more people. The independent board that conducted the interim analysis of Moderna's huge trial found that severe side effects included fatigue in 9.7% of participants, muscle pain in 8.9%, joint pain in 5.2%, and headache in 4.5%."

"Both vaccines consist of a snippet of genetic code directing production of the coronavirus' spike protein, delivered in a tiny fat bubble called a lipid nanoparticle. Some researchers suspect the immune system's response to that delivery vehicle is causing the short-term side effects."

I can work with ' short term side effects', rather than long term death.

I clearly recall the devastating impact thalidimide had with deformed babies back when I was a teen. It was in the news every day, just as covid is now. I'm going to eventually get this vaccine but will have to live with the concern there may be unknown effects of it in the years to come.

Same with Polio..I have two friends who were affected by that virus...there are in their 70's now and the damage is still with them. Pic below of a ward filled with Iron lungs.

People who refuse vaccines must remember that it's what needs to be done, as a society, to prevent spreading of the diseases. That's why School Boards etc are allowed to make vaccine shots mandatory for kids going to school.

    It's not 100 percent effective
Death is around every corner it's a part of every day life. Millions of other ways for death to come knocking on the door.

Even with a vaccine there will still be death's.

They didn't use a vaccine for the Spanish flu. Why is it a must for covid?

Let's be realistic....if you're a Pharmaceutical Company CEO would you want a your company to develop a one time Vaccine for a corona-virus and loose all profits that could be made if you the public has to take one every year. ?

remember : almost all CEOs are sociopaths (proven)
