But seriously is it wrong to enjoy gun's?
Or only enjoy some of them, what the government thinks are acceptable in society? .. without any reason besides they could of killed people. They are not the guns used Daily in crimes they are a very little threat to or society.

If that is you choice of a hunting gun and its a legal gun have at it. Personally I would not want the bother of the "special attention" your probably going to get in the field from CO,s and the Police.
You know your down in Niagara coming out of your truck to go hunting and a nice lady just moved down there from Toronto see's you loading it up off the highway. She right home and on the onto the 911 caller, "hi there's a guy with an assault rifle running around a field near my home, I, am scared, I have to get my kid's on the school bus, but I can't go out, I just shouted at the school bus driver and I think she is also calling you right now, she has 12 kid's on the bus, you need to send some help.
Female dispatcher " Lock yourself down in the home Mam, were are sending units your way right now.....
Now I know John you might not believe that could possibly happen in a million years and you might be right but... LOL

I don't like you right now.... jealousy ... a terrible thing! I looked at one at Taccom and logic and "I want that" have been fighting ever since! SO I AM JEALOUS!
Don't worry about G, if the Libs told him that left handed muskets were to be banned he would be finding justifications (that actually don't exist) for it. Maybe someone used it for self defence at Lachine and we know self defence is not allowed in Canada.

Already happened Terry - LOL. 3 years back with my camo'd Beretta 391 shotgun while I was set up in a field for a goose hunt. Now she was not concerned about my gun she was concerned that I was killing the rare and protected Canadian Geese - another stupid citiot moving to the country. Well the local coppers showed up asked me a few questions and said they needed to respond to a gun call. I asked them to remind the person that called the police that interfering in a legal hunt is a illegal and I have never had an issue since.
Where I hunt there are no houses.......just farms. On those farms everyone owns guns - yes, even black ones. If we are shooting in the back field they will usually show up with theirs thinking it is range day.

Well I guess the burning question is "are these experiences adding to the pleasure of your hunting day or taking away from it"

Seeing that they do that now to people out hunting with bolt action rifles for groundhogs how would a synthetic stocked rifle change anything?

.......are you referring to the fact that citiots are moving to the country and are completely and utterly oblivious. I could care less because the farmers do not want them around, they actually despise them, and other than that incident 3 years ago I have had no interaction with them what so ever. If you are referring to my ability to go from my desk chair to my stand seat less than 1 hour (including a stop for a Timmies) - yes, I will put up with the odd citiot every now and again for my ability to have access to prime hunting land so close to my house.
