Well it kinda is I am possibly going to pay for a useless gun buy back programs that is made up of lies and false fear .

They all get nice fancy raises big gains every year but we the public might get a few hundred more then tax it again so the public gets very little. As long as they are ok life is ok tho.

Actually Fish, Line052 is correct the current federal government and our benevolent leader is robbing the the next 5 or more future generations as they are the ones who will be paying for the current sh_t show that our current so called leader has put us in with little or nothing to show for it other than a large red minus sign in the country's bank account. So I would say for those who are unborn yet and will be responsible for this debt were stolen from and didn't receive any thing for it other than a larger tax bill. Some life they will have!

Results in things like some lady that makes cakes in her home (usually making $6k (gross)..under $5K net) ..sent Emergency Benefit cheques to the tune of $18k.....

No I can't because I have no say in my healthcare choices - it is illegal to for me to try and set up a better solution in Canada (QC is exempt - as they did not sign constitution and therefore controls its healthcare). I can't write one, as I have no authority. You see the premise and funding Universal Healthcare is good, collective funds pooling paid when young to support all others who age, your healthcare needs are low (typically) when young and increase as you age and need more care. That is the premise, just like CPP...problem is over the last 40 yrs two things have occurred to throw that formula out the window.

1st - Birth populations have dropped dramatically causing an imbalance of those paying into the system, this coupled with the loss of blue collared manufacturing jobs has reduced the amount taxes collected, these blue collared good paying jobs have turned to part time low paying jobs.

2nd - Huge increases in taxation in the last 40 yrs, both in after tax funds we have to spend (1972 you paid .17 cents per $$ earned in all taxation - 2020 - is in the range of .48 to .54 cents of every dollar earned goes to one level of government or a consumption tax), also, at the same time huge wage gains have been made in healthcare wages - as a result has put constant pressure on healthcare budgets (Deficit spending- fights over Healthcare transfers by feds). Also, since there is no competition in healthcare and state is only buyer - business has increased the cost of products provided. Lack of competition always increases prices.

The results:

High product/wages/bloated administration - place huge pressures on healthcare budgets - which result in de-listing many services- eye costs, PSA testing, PAP smears, or the government has to borrow or cut in other areas to fund. This is the game played by political parties..Ford (I dont like him and predicted all that is coming true) is bearing the brunt of lefts attacks on his government.

You see the basic problem is you all to government to fix your problems - that is not the answer - it places the control of your healthcare in the bureaucrats and politicians hands. If you want to fix the healthcare problem - we have to remove that power and money (which grants them power and authority over us) by doing this:

Funding - the value of each person funding goes to the individual
Private verse Public Options - Allow people to make their own choice if they want to direct those funds to public or private options. NOTE: The state will always funds those who cannot make informed choices - default position (weak, elderly)
Full funding to your local LHINS - I.E> only 50% of your share is spent in your LHINs - all it would be sent to Local LHINs.

Impact - Public and private will have to compete for your service and it will produce better outcomes. The system would improve.

The BEST PART - It removes the power and influence from politicians and stops the election peddling.
