The "evil corporations" centred in the golden horseshoe is the only difference in the value of real estate there and that of Pickle Lake.
The evil corporations would include all the public pension plan corporations. Omers, teachers pension, registered nurses, which if tomorrow decided to put their lot overseas ,would led to massive unemployment here.

Should a guy owning a trailer and living part time in the country get the same vote as a full time resident paying taxes on 100 acres?

The infrastructure you mention was paid for by all of us.

Shame then everyone isn't sitting on a $1,000,000,000 golden egg. Are they?
Shame then everyone isn't getting paid $60,000 ( I think about the average in the GTA)
Shame then the median duo income in PTBO isn't in the 80s....No its under $60,000
Shame then, small towns don't have the TTC and much more...
    Shame then......

You want to be dense, obtuse or ignorant. or all 3 That's your choice Gilroy.

"Across the GTA, the gap between rich and poor is widening while middle-income areas are disappearing, a United Way analysis of census data shows."
According to the 2016 census, the average individual income before taxes in the GTA in 2015 was $50,719. That is more than both Ontario’s average of $47,890 and Canada’s $46,885 average.

    And thats just the GTA........

Like Jesus Fn Christ. Open your eyes and look around......
Whether it's discussions about haves and have's nots, disposable income,
    Hydro and Hydro rates
    Carbon Taxes
    The losses to manufacturing/small towns
    and much much much more.

And yeah Gilroy, you lucked out, did squat, look at you go...

"Why should you be rich for doing nothing.....
    You didn't "build" anything
    You didn't employ people
    right place/right time. That's it.

Are you serious, did the framer ,heavy equipment operator, plumber, brick layer work on my house for free. LOL

Did my cabin magically appear in the woods by me sprinkling fairy dust as I rode on my unicorn.

    Ah, I see.
    You paid for that...
Kind of like an aristocrat, thinks money make him all that...

Now where did your paycheck come from?
    Their hard work?
    yep

But frankly, I would rather avoid the usual PS green grass stuff

    Point being T.
look around Ontario, or Canada for that matter.
    Wheres the "wealth"
    And these days,
Where are the jobs, the good paying ones...

Now go back to this thread, Carbon Taxes, or if we want to include Hydro rates ( because it is largely related)

Well we cannot take average incomes, medium incomes, or any kind when the Conservatives on here have been avoiding as much taxation as possible and working under the table. Throw all your charts out the window.
There was not a red cent I could hide from the government as a public servant.

It look's like you adopted the method used by the DONALD that he is now being investigated for according to his lawyer "he undervalued his assets when it came to taxes and over valued them when he wanted loans".

Hopefully Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland see this in the Corporate Conservative Class and hammer the crap out of them.

Pretty sure Jagmeet will be on board.

We can make it fair and simple, a French economist has it down pat "what ever a Corporations share of business they do within a country they will be assessed on that amount" don't like it, you don't get to operate in Canada.

You want to operate here and sell you product here pay your taxes .If you want to be headquartered in Bermuda for tax purposes and hide your cash there OK, sell only to the folk's in Bermuda.

Greed is not something that is solely in the domain of Conservatives....Its a human trait, and last I checked both Liberals and Cons are human
And it might be worth highlighting
[COLOR=#191919]Both Teachers’ and National Bank have pledged to repay dividends they received if the allegations are proven.

But now that youve mentioned it.
yeah kind of funny how some of those Unions.........

And whose money have they taken?
    The peasants breaking their backs?

    Another hint for Gilroy.
    Where’s the wealth?
Are the majority of people that live and work in the GTA

    Not liberal?

I used to love the fund raisers doe the Liberals. That’s when we’d see a Paul Martin come in. And lots of hot waitresses for those $1000 plate dinners.
