I have the Evo and the first year it ran great. Last season it would take pictures but not send. Tried contacting Spypoint and no response. I just purchased a Spypoint cell link and will see how it goes. I like Spypoint, they are a good cam for our weather conditions but the customer service is not the best.

I use Spypoint Evo abot 1 year, works fine. One time it seemd it sent picture not in full colour like sent purple instead of green but reboot and batteries replacement fixed that glitch and it didn't apear anymore.
Have two cell-links, one with Bushnell camera, another one is connected to Stealth. Both work fine, and those ones stays alive longer than Evo because of 16 AA batteries instead of 8. The only drawback is that I cannot measure camera battery info through cell link and this is a limitation by design. Other that that is more complicated turn on sequence, you have to attach cell link to the tree, then attach camera, then connect cell liink to camera, then turn on camera, then turn on cell link.

I originally thought the cell link was junk. Then I did the latest update and now it seems to be working quite well!

The OP was referring to traditional cameras that are not compatible with SpyPoint Cell Link. He mentioned that the company would not divulge what cameras were compatible and what ones are NOT and was just asking for advice.
The Cell Link worked well and we added another unit. The cell strength does not show up until the camera connects to transmit your images (you can alter this setting to transmit when a photo is taken or to transmit several photos at a specific time of the day - this option saves battery life).
