I'm about ready to cash it in. Main hunting season comes and almost done and what threads are the most popular on this forum?

ALL the political and off topics ones....just look at the post count....

The ones that just come in here to argue and cast shade on others should get each others phone # and chat about politics on there...I know few of you guys have each others address as well lol

Oh well, I guess its full year around cabin fever now for most....

GOODBYE and Thanks for all the fish.........I loved that book!!

I will be also canceling my subscription to the magazine when I get home tomorrow. I do not wish to contribute to the financial well-being of a organization who censorship I do not agree with.......

IMHO I have come to the conclusion that they are both left of center media outlets. They target the masses for a larger subscription base - PERIOD. They cannot, and will not, take a stance of what is right or wrong for fear of offending a fringe group or certain demographic.

They are what they are, and in my opinion they are just a hunting and fishing rag that you read once and leave in the outhouse at the fish/hunt camp. Do not expect any "Pete McGillen Awards" any time soon. The forum is a bunch of good hearted clowns (myself included) offering an opinion of the day, so please treat it as such.

Exactly my thoughts ... I can just see the smirk on "you know who's" face, if he leaves.

I hope Snowwalker (over 6000 posts) reconsiders. We need “outdoors people” from all over the province to make this work. I don’t post too much, but I do read and learn, if I have some constructive input to a hunting or fishing topic I will post. I see no value in the trash talk about our political leaders. That’s too easy, “low hanging fruit” they say. Too many hard feeling on these threads. I assume most of us joined here for the love of Ontario out of doors. Maybe the Federal and Provincial Politics section should be deleted. Would that bring back good outdoor discussions? I know ........ I don’t need to open those threads, but I can’t stop checking to see who is doing the trash talk of the day. “Curiousity killed the cat”. Any agree? Or do most think these threads are awesome and look forward to more of the same?

Back when, the "Federal and Provincial Politics" page was created to channel political discussions away from the outdoor forums. WE may need another moderator designated specifically to "police" the trolls who frequent the threads and permanently boot them out.
