Long Point Office ballot box during closing time

After Dec 19, 2020, the office will be closed. The ballot box will be at the gate? How does that work? Will Howey Ave gate be open? Have a great Christmas and new year folks.

I know on the east side, presquile and darlington waterfowl office closed and hunting is also closed as well.

wonder if its same at long point as well.

Hello Ata83,

The Long Point Waterfowl Management Unit (LPWMU) remains open on a "self serve" basis after December 19, 2020.

The "self serve" system that I recommended to the Board of Directors several years ago and eventually accepted by the Long Point Waterfowlers' Association is similar to the "self serve" system that was (and probably still is) used at Presqu'ile for years when I hunted there.

The rules are posted at the entrance to the park ... the boat launch in the park is closed but I am not sure about the Howey Avenue gate to that launch site.
