I managed a couple greenheads the other day with the boys. Morning hunt was by the river and the afternoon was in the field. You can guess who got what assignment.


Out for a walk today and was surprised to bring these home. The black DD can sure produce birds. He isn't pretty doing it, but pretty is as pretty does I suppose.


I fear it may almost be over for 2020.

I'm hoping to get out for the first/last time tomorrow at Fingal. My wife and I had a baby just before deer season which put a hamper on my plans for big/small game hunting, but with no work tomorrow I've been given the "okay" for a walkabout in the fields. Hopefully I can flush a bird or two by myself!
