Well Tigboy304 did we invade their country with phoney WMD evidence, then kill thousand's of innocent civilians?
Was it for democracy, when the US troops secured the oil field first and let the banks and museums get looted

Why did America think it could take Afghanistan when at the high of the British Empire they got their ars-- kicked.

Then America committed the worse atrocity they encouraged the common folk in Egypt ,Libya, Syria to take up arms and fight for their freedom, but then did nothing to support them in the end.

So who exactly are the terrorists, the Americans are all warm and fuzzy towards Saudi Arabia and that is where the 9/11 terrorists originated.

The hand of God is on America for their past follies and its not going to be pretty, when you invoke God's name you better not be taking it in vain.

Well gilly sorry you feel that way. I on the other hand am glad we have such great neighbors and friends to the south of us as with out them our great country would not be as well off as we are nor as great. Feeling the way you do by all means get on a boat or plane and don't let me hold you up and take up residence where ever you would like in the middle east. If you do choose to go ask JT if he would like to go as well as he should be a big hit over there and have rock star status as he likes to hand over millions to convicted terrorists. I am more than proud to call America a good friend and very thankful we have the as a ally as they stand for justice and liberty, God bless America.

Gotta go with Jben on this one. A prison would be a hot bed of potential infections and the staff are very susceptible to it and spreading it throughout the community. Its a tough one to swallow, but I can see the reasoning.

I can't get past how that particular segment of society, being in perpetual state of Lock down, is still under threat of getting the virus.

If they can get it....what the heck good is all what we're doing going to accomplish..seems rather pointless and costly.

Makes one wonder eh Mike.
But think about where most are located. “Small Town” Ontario. Many of those towns are retirement communities. So a whole bunch of elderly citizens, and the prison staff that live in the community.

Between the staff that go in/out daily. The lawyers from the GTA, the prison transfers from the same, etc...Someone from the GTA/Ottawa brings it in, or a guard, it spreads like wildfire, guards and staff also bring it home. And the small community, many of them retirement places is a train wreck.

All that said, given what we know about the numbers. Some highly paid people, are pretty unimaginative with thinking of solutions that would protect the at risk, without crippling the economy and a small segment of society

I suppose that a seniors care facility could be a very similar scenario? People going in and out each day, staff, maintenance, prisoners, lawyers, LEO's, deliveries to and from?

When the members on here were all piling onto the Bush band wagon to invade Iraqi I offered them a bus ride down to the American Embassy to get their green card and join up. No takers back then to go and fight for freedom and democracy then
make you the same offer, taxi right to the nearest recruiting base for you to join up.
