Any luck east of the Soo?

Good Day All,
I know the weather has not been great to freeze up some of the lakes (To a safe thickness). Has anyone been out east of Sault Ste. Marie (Thessalon area) and had any luck. We are itching to get out.

Are you on Facebook? There's a few groups that post info on fishing. "Algoma Ice Anglers", "Soo Fishing" are a couple I know of. The temps these last few days have been making ice, helped along with the lack of snow. As with most anglers, finding out what lake is producing might be a challenge? Any of the lakes I previously mentioned in the other thread you started, have fish. Good luck!
