Callander Bay
My GF and I are thinking about fishing out of Callander .... I would think the ice is good .... but can anyone confirm ? Thank you in advance .. Frenchie

I’ve heard 5/6 inches but have not been out yet. Was by on Sunday and there were people out there,hope to get out on the weekend

My ex has a cottage on Callander Bay. They had somebodies ice shack half go through the ice about 100 yards off their shore.

Was out today in front of Sunbeam Bungalows and there was 9 inches

OPP was checking people's addresses heading onto the lake this weekend - heads up guys. Not sure if it was leading to fines or not, but was told they don't want people travelling to the north from down south.

Total waste of police resources.
There is not a travel ban in effect in Ontario.
Yes there are some gathering restrictions but stopping people on the move won't prove anything about illegal gatherings.
And if the first question they ask is the persons address that could possibly invalidate legal charges they came across.
