Might find alot of hunters on the forums have gone there with the same intention. I was there from 90-93. Lots of jobs going in, none coming out. Even did my high school co-op with local MNR.

Pretty much anyone I knew did the same. Lol. It's too bad CO's aren't treated the same as other public services.
This isn't a test run................Enjoy er'.......

Yeah the good old Grand, I got in nice with the owners in 1990 and got to party into the early mornings.
Got kicked out of Dedos several times.
What course did you take, are you working in it?

Has too much time on their hands
I was there from 95 to 98 with the grand vision of becoming a CO like everyone else, haha!
My science "background" landed me a skilled job where I am now so can't complain.
I took F&W technology. Like you guys, spent a lot at The York, The Grand and Dedos. Coach and Horses and The Irish House too!

The last 2 places came after me. Back in my day, the York was kinda a disco - they claimed to have a piece of the floor from the movie “Saturday Night Fever”. There was a bar downstairs; Dedos perhaps?went there a couple of times in
my second year. There was a country bar down on the corner called the Royal which I got tossed out of for being under age LOL. Down the street from there was an old classic called the Kent which was a “no fuss - just for drinkers”establishment. Tried my first pickled eggs there. In the middle of all of that was the Central where they had bands and you could get trays of glasses of draft. There was a tiny pub in the back that was pretty quiet. Once when I was there, some bikers threw an axe with dynamite through the door, thankfully it was after hours. I used to go to the Grand on Thursdays for pizza and a jug of draft - good college food!
