Bay of Quinte this year ?
Haven’t seen any posts on here about anyone going to Bay of Quinte....anybody been out ?
went with an outfitter there a few years ago and I was really surprised at the strong current, I’m told that ice conditions are far from consistent there

Spoke to a buddy today who lives in Belleville and he said that from the bridge there has to be over 100 huts out there.

I can't speak for Bellville or to the west but all the major fishing areas from big bay to Deseronto other than the Telegraph narrows are being fished and from Deseronto on down to Thompsons point and the old hay bay church are being fished as well. Hope that helps stay safe and use that spud. Cheers

There is a good website called "Bay of Quinte Beg and Brag". Lots of folks posting about ice, fish and/or lack thereof. There is also a good link on there with the marinas, launches and ice fishing areas identified. The ice fishing info even contains brief summaries of where to park, how long the walks are etc. I gas up local, take a lunch and buy my bait from a fridge outside so folks cannot complain. Only been once so far, but heading this weekend too. Fishing was super slow two weeks ago. You will see 10 folks post pics of fishing success for the 1000 huts out there. I just do not people unfamiliar with the area to get the wrong impression that it is easy fishing. Very few jumbo perch but millions of tiny ones, an occasional pike, most folks I talk to in winter get skunked or into walleye too small to eat. But there are definitely fish of a lifetime to be had as the pics show.
