I hope those fish dinners give you diarrhea and a gut ache! It ain't fair! I want to be pigging those whitefish! What was your hot lure and what depth were you finding them at?

    February 10th

Got out this morning at another location yes we like to move around lol. So far this season 4 trips 4 locations and 25 whitties iced.

Started off slower today we only had a couple of fish iced in the first couple of hours. After some shifting around I ended the morning going 5 / 7 lifted the one and lost the other right at the hole .

First fish I kept next fish I was going to let go but I f'd up and had it out of the water too long . Well it wasn't that long under 30 second but I noticed a little ice forming over her eye. . So I said heck with the pics either got my phone out and ready before I landed them or took a tail pic lol.

What a fat fish tho little piggy she was stuffed full . She had 9 gobies in her and few 4 plus inches. The biggest was 4.5 inches long . After it was all cleaned up I gave the in-laws their first feed . Gave my buddies grandparents one from the last trip they get a cleaned up fish every year.

A few pics the first pic you can see the ice starting to form. Then I needed some lunch was just going to do some fries then I decided to clean up half a fish while the fries cooked.

Heading out to some big waters next week haven't been out there in many years. Again another location lol.

Hope everyone is having a great season.
    Stay safe .

If your on smaller lakes up north the pressure isn't that bad you still probably have the entire area alone.

I showed up to the parking lot yesterday morning at 7 and there was probably 50 people in the lot already .

The fish are everywhere so no point in hammering one area on Simcoe anyway .
