    Default Waterfowl Regs question

I see in the southern district you can start goose hunting the 27th with some restrictions.

Maybe it just me or are these really poorly written, anyways...

    Is it:

    A. You can start hunting but only in areas that have no Sunday hunting during the regular waterfowl season?

    B. All area are open except if there is no Sunday hunting then you can’t hunt Sunday’s in that area. Or

    C. I am out to lunch and it’s something else altogether

most places with no sunday gun hunting are fully frozen over.

yet I see them flying in huge numbers still over 401 and 407 ...

so I guess they are roosting on lake ontario and fly up north to feed at this time.

seems much tougher than the regular season to me, unless you have access to fields they are feeding on.

CDN008 - Did you get that question from the Ontario hunter ED? Just curious..

By the way, you will need to scout the 401 eastbound to find where the big birds are flying..... Only the most healthiest Geese are able to deal with the mid-winter conditions and not have to migrate. If you do your home work & added luck, you can get on some fantastic pass-shooting.
Late Season Geese primarily use the same flight pattern every day (Given the same wind), and if you get the farm permission you will enjoy some late season "pass-wing shooting" - Bets time of the year for these birds...

No I have never hunted this time of year before because I was in an area that didn't really see any activity. But this year I see activity around Kingston and thought that it would be fun to hunt without having to wait until the fall. But now I see I can't and my excitement is all gone lol
