Actually been there done that. Both the ex and myself used the same lawyer at the same time one visit for 500.00 for separation agreement. A year later to the courthouse to file divorce papers for under 400.00 and a done deal.
You only get taken advantage of lawyers if you allow yourself to.

That there is true but I think your an unusual case, one party generally is unreasonable in my experience.

True enough, we have family members going through lawyers now for a divorce. I'm sure when they both get their separate bills from their legal counsel they will hate each other even more for not being reasonable...lol
