The guys I coyote hunt with got a black one several years ago. We have 35 this year, with no really dark colours...

It's so unique you should think about getting yourself a hat made. It would turn out beautiful. I had a bomber style with ear flaps made in muskrats that I trapped and I like it so much I'm going to get one done in coyote. I sent my dried pelts to Mudry Furs in Montreal (they have a web site with prices). I think it cost $14 per rat to get them professionally tanned and return shipped within a month. They did a beautiful job, far better than what you could possibly do yourself with a kit. I then took my pelts to a local furrier. They measured my head, showed me finished examples, then made my hat. I had mine done in Peterborough by Cahill Furs. I also got them to make a head band for my wife. Turned out beautiful in muskrat.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?
