Fish 2.8 for Canada 2.2 for China per 100,000 population from GW link on this thread. Some folk's believe the Chinese figures are inaccurate some believe they are accurate. What can I say.

Why would we ever compare ourselves to China? I mean seriously..... if that’s the best defense JTs got...
Does their leadership pretend to care about their citizens?
Do they brag about their healthcare? Look down their noses at others? Do they virtue signal and much much more?
Comparing Canada to China on something like this, would be like comparing Mother Theresa to Freddy Kruger. That we are even statistically close is brutal. Much like their regime is brutal

Well just a few common sense observations China for example has a land mass smaller than Canada with populations much easier to vaccinate. A few reasons for that are they pretty well know where everybody is at any given time AND if your told to appear at x village
or hospital at x time I am pretty sure you will comply.
They are an economic powerhouse and appear to have the ability to build a large hospital in a matter of months not years.
The fact that they had the genetic fingerprint, either through research or they developed the virus would put them in a large lead to develop a vaccine and lastly they had their own facilities and vaccine production in this own country.

China, is not a country we should be comparing ourselves to. That's why, most often ( virtually always) we or statisticians, economist, policy advisors etc.
Use the G7.
Where we rank the worst by far when you factor in debt, unemployment, vaccines and more.
You will do anything, to believe your chosen is doing a passable job.
He's not. He is an embarrassment to put it politely.
If nothing else, this alone should spell it out for you.
