That one just flour, salt, pepper, baking soda and baking powder and water. Not sure of the exact amount as I just toss it in . I try to stay with the same thickness of batter not to thick not to runny
You can use beer I haven't this year but I would try and find the lightest colour you can find I usually go with the MGD it's a light blond . If you know of a lighter one giver and let me know lol.

Thats a crazy belly full, looks like the bottom of the food chain is nothing but gobies there.
When I was out last week the two Lakers I caught were stuffed full too, one was packing a 10 inch whitefish and the other had two spinal columns about 14 inches long that I would have guessed to be burbot.

Yes for sure, not the same, most times I’m alone on the
lake. Over the years you sort of figure out the best spots to fish smaller lakes.
