Gilroy. I’m not where you’re problem grasping risk management is. I’m really not.

And I’m doing trying to hold your hand on it. Everyone in the world has had to contend with it.
    We are lagging badly.

    Deal with it.

That is my take on it nobody wanted to get into this type of business model with Rand D given the population of Canada. Given that our cousins with a population 10x ours was also caught with their pants down and needed a massive infusion of money by the government to complete the development.

There is risk in relying on a very small Canadian company from Alberta who does not yet have a vaccine ,which is not yet tested, in a facility not yet built. The main reason we are lagging badly is that China had a bone to pick with us and the delay in delivery, which I might note got worse with Israel for instance skipping the line, offering big money per shot and giving away personal information. I mean you are holding these guy's out as your gold standard as they are #1.

The wealthy ones will buy it all up make jobs and make them more wealthy lol. .

Everyone should be open or closed if everyone was closed it wouldn't take so long . 3 week of everyone would be better than 3 months partial lockdowns lol.

First you defend Trudeau’s decision to rely solely on China.

Have used “well no-one foresaw problems” and/or “it’s Trumps fault China is unreliable”

Have defended them, for signing contracts for “the most” shots per person. Months late.

decided to moan about “corporate welfare”. Really??? During these times and this issue? Get a grip.....

Now your saying there’s a risk to relying on a small Cdn company?

Make up your mind Terry. Make your arguments cohesive with continuity. Or maybe, the problem, is you just won’t accept he screwed up large, on perhaps the single most important thing. And hence why your all over the map, and like JT can’t decide on anything......

Multiple contracts, from multiple sources, including getting Cdn production on line should have been anyone’s approach and priority. from day 1

Given the stakes and risk. Those risk being supply issues, risk that one or more may not work, etc etc. And please don’t try to make another excuse a long the lines “well no one could have predicted”., scientist all over the world saw the need for a vaccine last Feb.....he had intelligence he ignored last Jan....and even the public grasped some of the risk when they ran out and secured all the TP they could...

Anyone with a brain, and once of common sense. Let alone grasping risk management. Including from his die hard supporters

And before I forget. A basic truth about “risk”. The less you know, ( your well no one saw X happening)....the GREATER the risk..

And thus, the greater his stupidity for relying on China, and not doing anything until August. Has it crossed your mind, for example no one could know Chinas vaccine would work.....

I truly do not believe we have a choice if we want to have vaccine available in the future. We already do have some people in Canada doing phase 1 or 2 trials as we speak. This is not a static situation but will always be evolving and mutating into something different.
