AGAR: Falsely impugning police a danger to the public
Other than stirring the pot, what purpose of outright lying about treatment by the police does this serve? Would you be willing to make a malicious claim towards law enforcement on social media knowing it was false?

Malicious, vexatious complaints such as these should result in criminal charges....I was once very much opposed to body cams.....not now ! They should be routinely used, if for no other reason than to protect Leo.....

Yes, there is a leftist agenda that even Premier Legault in Quebec was warning about earlier this week.
The universities have been infiltrated.

Most Liberals would applaud the kid for lying, I suspect the Liberals on this site would as well.

Citizens have been lying to the police and about the police since the very start of modern day policing. Criminal's use this tactic all the time, accused police of stealing their property, sexually assaulting them, planting drug's on them. Most times its not true, sometimes it is true, but its all part of the job and you have to roll with the punches.

I agree to a point. The problem today is that this type of frivolous complaint gets way more traction than they did 25 years ago. Today, Leo are convicted in courts of public opinion right off the hop, even before all facts are known.

Well,to quote the Prime Minister--"People just remember things differently".LOL It's all good. On a more serious note, there 's currently no accountability for false reporting and no civil recourse against those who register a false complaint resulting in a tactical response, property seizure, false imprisonment and/or damage or injury. It's all there in black and white in Bill C-21.

If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....
