    Default Fear mongering Tam

Tam is predicting the sky is falling again. She offers no logical explanation for it.

The conservatives and media are demanding an explanation. The real agenda is about to show its face.

"We live in an era of fear driven by government officials and politicians at all levels who continue to try to control the lives and businesses of the citizenry without justifying their actions. On Friday it was the federal government’s turn to try and use shock and awe on the public."
"Due to the appearance of new variants, unless we have new, harsher, stricter public health measures then we will have more than 20,000 cases a day of COVID-19 by early April Dr. Theresa Tam said. If current public health measures are lifted then we will have 20,000 cases per day by early March, just two weeks away."

"The graph left infectious diseases experts scratching their heads. “What are the underlying assumptions?” Dr. Martha Fulford, an assistant professor at McMaster University and infectious diseases physician at Hamilton Health Sciences, told the Sun."

“For me, a model is only as good as the data inputted and we need to know what the underlying assumptions and the data are. Why is their modelling so different from the modelling everywhere else?”
"The Center for Disease Control in the U.S., for example, forecasts a decrease in cases over the same timeline as Dr. Tam’s graph shows the rocket ship-like trajectory."
"Michelle Rempel, the Conservative shadow minister for health, asked Public Health Agency of Canada representatives to explain how they came to this forecasting, but they were unable to offer answers."

"The problem with making pandemic decisions based on fear is that fear is limitless and immeasurable. If Toronto stays locked down until March 9, as Tory and de Villa want, there will still be reasons to fear the virus variant on March 10."
"What will the next layers of the argument be? When spring comes, people will be tempted to get out and socialize more. Better lock down. When summer comes, not everyone will have been vaccinated. Better lock down, just in case. Maybe things could reopen in the fall if everyone is vaccinated, but even then, you know how the virus can flare up. Better lock down."

It really is getting out of hand....this new 'Variant' fear mongering is just ridiculous...if we don't behave we could see 2000 cases a day in Mar....

Base on what ..???? No one is giving up data to prove any these assumptions all the while the charts are showing the numbers dropping like a stone now that the most vulnerable have had their shots.

Since viruses have a tendency to keep mutating, does this mean we will have to listen to the "sky is falling" repertoire each time a new variant is discovered? First it was the U.K variant, then the South African variant, then the Brazilian variant. We keep being told about the possible catastrophic outcomes of each new strain. Do they really want people to hide under their beds for the rest of their lives?

They have already been wrong on all the predictions they have made so far.

No different now they will be wrong again.

It's a good thing York top doctors say we are ok . Even know the variant is around.

Our stay at home order will be lifted in a few days. .

The UK variant is expected to take over and be the next dominant . New variants are popping up every few days .

    We have the OG variant

    LA variant

    Kent variant

    UK variant

    South Africa variants.

Soon we will have our own maple syrup Canadian blend variant.

Also think I heard 2 of the variants joined teams and mutated in 1. But there are a few more variants that I didn't mention to many as it will continue to change.

Our government is so brutally corrupt and the media is right on board with them.
The agenda of the liberal government has never be so up in our faces with the lie rhetoric.
If the liberals are not booted from Ottawa soon, kiss freedom as we once had long good bye..imo.
The liberals are destroying the rights and freedoms so many sacrificed for us to have.

Heard on the radio this morning that the business council had a lot to say about her "forecast".

Try to find anything in the MSM about their response. It's virtually all, 20,000/day headlines

The virus is well on its way to becoming the 5th coronavirus associated with the common cold and it is the 7th coronavirus to infect humans. There are 4 currently associated with colds. Roughly 1/4 of all colds are a coronavirus infection. You've most likely had one before, and your immune response to COVID may actually depend on how long ago you had one. Here's a really interesting article from last summer that was informative. Especially the part about infecting pre-pandemic blood with COVID-19 and the theory about why children don't get seriously ill (they've generally all had coronaviruses in recent years so they have a higher degree of natural immunity than those of us who haven't). It also makes you think about the further implications of not allowing people to get sick at all by keeping people apart. We are killing our own natural immune responses to things like coronaviruses by never catching anything.

"Does the Common Cold Protect You from COVID-19? | The Scientist Magazine[emoji2400]" https://www.the-scientist.com/news-o...-19--67792/amp

"Variants" are actually good news, it means the virus is following the expected path to becoming more tolerable to humans (not killing them), and more contagious. Meaning the virus is evolving in a way that guarantees its survival. It's never going away, despite vaccine efforts and lockdowns. It will continue to mutate and escape vaccines and natural immune responses, the same way that a common cold does now, although we don't try to vaccinate against the common cold because we already know that it is both futile and dangerous.

"Some vaccines support evolution of more-virulent viruses -- ScienceDaily" https://www.sciencedaily.com/release...0727143139.htm

The real question is why are we forgetting all of this science and focusing on placating the hysterics instead? It's hard to ignore the conspiracies when laymen can figure this out. COVID-19 might be new but coronaviruses have been around for a very long time. It's suspected that each of the 4 common cold coronaviruses sparked a pandemic of their own when they made the jump to humans, we just didn't have the technology to isolate the cause or MSM to freak out the world. They just called it a bad flu year.

^ Good Post....touches on the truth of a coronavirus. The more people that get sick, the stronger we become as a species.

I think she's become a servant to the political pressures from the WHO and The Village Idiot. When she first started she was good and then you could tell by her body language she wasn't happy saying some of the stuff she was forced to say.
