We can only hope that the voters decide the Village Idiot has to go and the Cons will be granted the mop and bucket to clean up the mess...Like Ford was.
With all the destruction to our economy and the push for a universal income for the unemployed, relaxation of jail time for criminals, open borders to illegals and the amount of handouts and gun bans to the country would only assume trudeaus agenda of the people relying on the state is in motion as we speak. Hes purchasing votes by the day as he continues to tell Canadians the government is going in debt so Canadians don't have to.
Sadly O'toole does not want to open our economy until the whole country is vaccinated regardless to how long that may be. He doesn't care about small business anymore than Trudeau, sadly.

With the sorry state of the present Conservative party nothing is going to change, a big part of their base Social Conservatives simply put off a big part of Canadian voters. Does anyone believe they could/would have handled today's problem's any better. The Liberal's have been very bad in many area's and I would like to see some changes but can't see myself switching my vote back to Conservative any time soon.

    Once again.
Lets deflect from the brutal record a sitting Liberal gov't has....."sorry state of Cons". You want "sorry"? Look at and read the article....

Your entitled to your stance and reasoning Terry. Some of which I don't disagree with. But as with enabling children, if you are willing ( and it appears you are) to accept failure, scandals and more.
Why should any of them L or C, try or do better. The same mailaise, apathy, willingness to accept ineptitude here provincially led to.....
And with respect to the Con party you simply do not know that. You don't and can't.

It's on you and those like you Terry.
Consider the US, and what things might look like in 4 to 8 years, if people had stuck their heads in the sand and said "Well Biden and the dems suck too"..Better the devil the know, which ever and what ever.

No-one to blame "but oursevles" for the piss poor performance of sitting admins and the sorry state of politics

I can tell by your response your not particularly enamored by either party so can you propose a solution?

    A brand new party?

Electoral reform, first past he post gone..?

We need more participants in the debate and less spectators.

I dislike most policticians/parties. Self serving scumbags who care first and foremost about being in power, consequences be damned.

    "Solution"
Boot them, make them earn second terms. They will all get the message when we start holding them accountable again. And because first and foremost, self preservation is important to them......But first we, have to stop being ok with crap. It's us that is setting the bar low

It would not be possible to do worse then Trudeau has done.

Face it Gilroy in reality Trudeau has screwed this country. There is less then a 10% chance that my Children or any of this coming generation will ever make it financially as I have.

Well in all fairness, we don't know that either.

During the Harris years, I used to think no party could ever do as much damage as Rae did.
    Boy was I ever wrong.

Is there anything JT's Liberals have done well at? Anything, that's not "fluff" where objectively we could give them a B?

I have to totally agree with you on this, Gilroy.
It is a sad state the Conservative Party is in at present.
Sadly I believe O'toole has been sipping the cool-aid and may have blood poisoning.
Pierre is the only electable Conservative for the PM position imo.

No matter which way you cut it,one more liberal government, whether the shiny pony is in charge or not, just one and Canada as we knew will never exist or survive ever again.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....
