Has too much time on their hands
CZ Hammer Classic
I think I am in love... I miss the old black powder I used to hunt pheasants with and this is a heck of a lot better for reloading when you miss the first bird.... and 5 more roosters walk out of the fence line at 20 yards and take off.
So anyone else watching what the price and availability will be?

$1350.00 CAD
Not horrible as I'm sure the quality is there. I've never been a fan of doubles but this is one I could get behind.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Watching the older fellow with the coach doubles, It was interesting to see the addition of the tang safety on the hammered gun. I discovered on one occasion the advantage of the hammerless double over the hammered double, when firing at a grouse, one day, when I open the gun up to reload I noticed I had touched off the left barrel rather than the right. With a hammerless both barrels are active with the safety off, so it doesn't matter what trigger I found first. With the hammered guns it's usually the right hammer that get cocked for a quick shot and so if your finger fines the second trigger instead of the first nothing going to happen. With that tang safety in could puts the hammered and the hammerless on an equal footing, when it comes to the situation I just described. The addition of the tang safety on the hammered gun appears to be a great idea.
You don't stop hunting because you grow old. You grow old because you stop hunting.

YUCK....go slap yourself, that would ruin it! The reason I have an Uplander right now is the two triggers and to put it on something like that would be like putting a Prius motor in a Corvette Stingray.

I've been eyeing a Pedersoli La Bohemienne for quite some time... quality is better than the CZ from what I hear, but so is the price point!
