I just wanted to know if anyone has had any issues updating the software on the 200i in Canada. There has been talk in the past of other Garmin tracking units crashing when software updates were attempted outside the US.

I'll let ya know in a few months, we are upgrading to 200s from 100s. I don't think there will be a problem. We have updated our 100s, 320, 220 multiple times over last few years.

Just did an upgrade two months ago and no issues..

There are many 200's in use in Canada. I just updated two 320's that I bought used to 4.6. My Alpha 100 works fine.

I hear ya, I was worried to but I know so many guys that have updated theirs. I had one unit(320) that wouldn't pick up any collar so I had nothing to lose. It worked flawless after update so I did it to 3 more units and they have been fine since. Anyone I know with 100s did the updates as well.

Never had to upgrade mine yet. What I heard its a no issue.
