We touched on this earlier in the thread 'looking for a good lab breeder' .

The Canadian Kennel Club has shared an article they have put together with some links in it on just this subject. At a time where many people are wanting dogs, here is a good resource to share. Why take my opinion for it? Check out our purebred dog registry's resource

Here is a breeder website I came across when searching online for a lab breeder. Total scam and unfortunately people will fall for it due to the lack of available Lab puppies.

First clue ...... the title of the page ..... "Get yourself a Friendly Golden Retriever Here!" and every photo of an available puppy is a lab!

Doesn't say much for a breeder that can't tell the difference between a Golden Retriever and a Labrador Retriever!

Great post....thanks...I'm still trying to wrap my head around the subject when a neighbor or friend says they just paid 4k for a bulldog/lab/beagle mix.......and rights to first litter.....jezzzzus...
