    Default Waterfowl with archery??9

To be clear, I've never waterfowl hunted, I've been strictly a big game hunter for my whole entire hunting experience. But I just recently stumbled upon some information for "archery for waterfowl". It caught my attention as I always thought it was poaching LOL. I have some questions and I'll appreciate any answers or if anyone can point me to the written regs on migratory bird archery.

On the Ontario Summary for migratory game birds it says nothing about archery. So even if it was allowed I wouldn't know if there were WMU exemptions/exceptions and the specific parameters like the Hunting Reg summary outlines for archery.

Are crossbows allowed? I also heard that only traditional archery gear is allowed due to some crybabies in the states not liking crossbows. But I also heard that there were talks about repealing those regulations. Any forums on this topic are already 5+ years old.

It took me a bit to find anything about it, crossbows are a no go as outlined under "hunting equipment" but I thought somebody mentioned proposed changes that may allow them.

Found it in the migratory bird regulations (full version) section 15 as well.
