Hey everyone
Hope you are all doing well.
I was wondering if anyone here own a Weatherby Vanguard MeatEater Edition.
If so, how did you buy it? I want to order one in .308 and see its only through CT one can get them, but not sure how long it takes etc. I went to my CT that does firearms in store as well, but have not heard back from them regarding ordering, prices and ETAs.

If anyone has some experience with this, please let me know

I would have no issues buying a gun from CT if they had it in stock, but I am not sure if I would place an order with them unless they can tell you when you would receive it. I know the stores in Burlington and yes they sell guns but they are not in the gun business. For that price point I'd look at a Tikka T3 IMHO.

I remember a couple of years back, before SAIL was in town, I went to the Appleby Line CT store to pick up some .308 to test a gun I just bought and asked the kid working in the sporting section there where they kept their gun ammo and he said they do not sell ammo. I asked him why not the Fairview store sells it and then this punk twerp gets on his soap box and starts lecturing me about Sandy Hook and Newtown. I promptly said my piece to him as he stood there shocked that I would challenge him and have never been back to that store for ANYTHING since.

unfortunately CTC on Fairview at Guelph line no longer sells guns. Not sure if they can or will still order them for you? Was in there last week, and shocked to see they were all gone. Wasn't worth the hassle someone working the department told me.

Got a call back from Fairwiew yesterday and the gun is ordered. Maybe I had dumb luck, but the guys at CT phoned yesterday, said the warehouse has what I want in stock and it will be here is about a week or so.
