So there are so many new shooting enthusiast south of the line that they are choking off the ammo supply and driving up the price of ammo. That might be bothersome if I were not into reloading. On another forum they were raising concerns about component supplies, but the out cry didn't appear to be as bad.

Went to Cabelas Ottawa last night. Talking an employee (might have been the manager) that they sold $20,000 (All inventory) of crossbows in 2 days after Covid began, mostly non PAL holders and most said they wanted it for hunting if grocery stores shut down, many didn't even know you had to take a hunters safety course to hunt. He also said hundreds tried to buy guns without a PAL and didn't know you needed a license. In all he said they sold their guns out in a week and most ammo. Ammo levels are still not completely up around Canada. NB has very little he said.

Luckily I have a decent supply that suits my needs.
