Yepp. And who gets to be the arbiter of what's offensive? Just as an example, conservatives in the USA were called deplorables and Nazis on a regular basis. Every single late night talk show host, comedian, professional athlete, entertainer, major corporation and academic institution all have the exact same views ("Orange man bad!") and race to out-do each other with virtue signalling the latest leftist cause. If all of the above support BLM for example, your group is in no way 'oppressed'. You ARE the mainstream lol.
It's up to the parents to teach their children right and wrong, and not for the nanny state to ban anything they deem offensive. Things are so upside down that we are somehow viewed as the a-holes for simply questioning it.

If you question the fact that they are ceasing the printing of children’s books , that show black men being whipped by a white man..... well if it walks like a duck.......And they are not banned. No longer printing is much different. Company decision , not a law. Are you trying to tell the publisher that they must print more of them? A private company is trying to please 50% of their customers. Like General mills and Aunt Jemima. No law, just wise. If they thought they could sell more ‘ Hungry Man’ dinners , by changing the name to ‘Hungry Person ‘ , they would.

Who are the some people, and who decides what is offensive?
Are you awake yet?

In the case of Dr. Seuss the decision was made by the people who own the rights to the books. The books are their property and they have every right to publish them or not for whatever reasons they choose. The books haven't been banned or burned, are still legal to own and many other Dr. Seuss books remain available.

People who think that illustrations in a children's book , depicting white men , whipping black men, are acceptable, maybe part of the problem. You do not have to be offended to realize, that it is not the right thing to do.

EBay banned them for sales and libraries around the country are taking them off the shelves...wake up literature is being censored by the cancel culture..the flavour of the day trying to erase our past.
How will our children learn why things are racist unless they understand the history of it.

People are waking up, and realizing that some things done in the past are wrong, and should not continue.

You took the cut out figure and saved them up and after about 10 you sent them off to Robinson Jam's and you got a metal cut out figure they were called Golly Wog's.

So who would make these rules? There are many things I find offensive, Do only Liberals get to make this decision?
People need to grow up, really a bunch of BS.
