That is where you are wrong, the numbers prove that you are wrong, serious crimes are not going up.

The fact is that gun crime is significantly lower than it was in the 70s, the problem is that if there is one gun crime anywhere in the country we see it 18000 times and hear about it about as many.

After many years with law enforcement in Ontario,as a general rule of thumb,we saw that what was happening in the US always migrated north, but,it usually took about 10 years. That hasn't changed,in fact,it appears to be accelerating at an alarming rate to about half that. The gang banger/gun issue we're seeing in Canada's large cities has been occurring for the last 5 years in American big cities. Chicago and Baltimore comes to mind.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

We have had so called gang banger activity in Toronto since about 1988, after our first crack house WAS RAIDED IN MY OLD DIVISION by 5 district drug's squad. It was never allowed to get out of control because we did not abandon or surrender whole public housing project's to the bad guy's, BUT IN THE USA they had no problem doing that decades ago and making no go area's. Of course we did not know at the time that Ronald Regan was actually facilitating the flow of cocaine into places like Compton, while the CIA was using the profit's to fund illegal wars.

So Joe Pa we are no where near like America which is a country in decay because of internal corruption. Your America is a war mongering country and like Rome will keep declining caused by your greed Worldwide.
