Doesn't it make you think - someone kills 10 people and it makes the news all over the world - while each week thousands get shot in our big cities like Chicago , Philly, Baltimore and St Louis and you hardly hear about it - you add all those killings and it far outnumbers the victims of mass shootings - oh well - all I can say is be careful and be street smart

We are going to come to the realization that a lot of these mass shootings aren't just by chance.

So you do not consider the Oklahoma city bombing a terrorist attack? Or do terrorists have to be brown?

While sometimes we chafe under Canadian gun laws it is incidents like this that show their benefits. The Colorado shooter would most likely not qualify for a PAL due to his criminal background. Even if he did he could not legally buy the weapon or magazine he used. Nor would he be able to easily and legally stroll around in public and into a Canadian supermarket with an assault-style rifle slung over his shoulder.

There are most likely just as many mentally disturbed and potentially violent people per capita in Canada as the U.S.A. The difference is that here it is far more difficult for them to get deadly weapons than in America.
