My one son had Covid 19 awhile back - he felt bad for a couple days but that was it - he tested positive at the time - I see no reason for anyone getting the experimental vaccine because the chances of dying are so low - if you are really old you don't have long to go anyway anyway - the shame is that now a days you can't trust anyone - the government - the press - politicians -
Its just that dying from covid is a horrible way to go. Pretty much all alone, no family visits, gagging for each and every breath. No thanks. I'd rather get hit by a bus.
What you describe would apply to a dozen other diseases at this time. It is not covid specific. Influenza, pneumonia, cancer...etc. With lockdowns, there is usually no family visits. Also, in all cases patients are sedated so awareness / minimal pain is usually experienced.Originally Posted by sawbill

If you're not living your life worrying about dying from cancer or the flu, then ther is no need to worry about dying from covid. What we have is a harsh flu with a low death rate that mainly kills people with more than one other health issue. The severity portrayed in the media is a hoax that is 10 times bigger than the 911 hoax. Speaking of death toll, over 100 million people will die in the 3rd World because of the lack of leftovers given to them by the 1st World due to the lockdown. When Bill Gates was asked about this death toll, he basically laughed and said it was collateral damage. These people don't care about you and they say that the population should be reduced by 90% (not to 90%). Wake up!

No. Speaking for myself, as a Christian, I believe we have a duty to preserve our bodily integrity. We can use our God given practical reason to understand a few things:
- The efficacy of the vaccine is much, much lower than the survival rate of Covid
- It's an 'experimental' vaccine that has been rushed through
- 100's (1000's?) have died / been paralysed / suffered some sort of severe reaction
- There is no legal recourse against any of the above ^
- Even after receiving the vaccine, you still have to toe the line of mask wearing, social distancing, contact tracing, etc.
- It doesn't protect against all the new supposed variants
- You will likely then be encouraged to get regular vaccines
- 'My body, my choice' as the liberals love to say
It just doesn't make sense.
