The only people "influencers" affect are braindead millennial snowflakes who still believe every bit of bullshyte they see on social media and left wing bought-and-paid-for media.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Social Media? It’s a bit of a misnomer, more like Social Commentary.

Got to wonder why is it only left leaning people run the sites people complain about? Why does the right not own or run anything besides Maydock properties. Rebel? Their numbers suggest, who cares about them. Ineptitude? Old white guys, not with the times? Many of the sources people site on here, were made in someones basement.

No wonder,at all, when leftist media censors right wing websites and editorials on a regular basis. Just try to have a letter published that's critical of liberal or democrat politicians and policies. When was the last time we ever saw an editorial written by the NFA or CCFR in The Star?

... and those who don't believe that they can possibly be influenced by anything they read on the internet. That's a much broader group though.
We're all susceptible to it to some degree or another I think.

Maybe, but,I think that stuff is more targeted to those who aren't real big on fact checking or critical thinking.

Jeff Ballingall Does his best with the Ontario Proud and Canada Proud social commentary memes. TrueNorthTimes and the Rebel as well. Neither of the above should be taken as gospel. Often a nugget of truth, overlaid with rhetoric and conjecture. But people are free to believe whatever they want.

Unfortunately I think critical thinking folks are now outnumbered by non-critical thinking, and even fact checking requires fact checking. You know, with all the "misinformation" out there now.
I honestly can't believe the number of people that just take everything they read at face value and then share it around as "profound news" in their big hurry to be first to inform their "friends". The "Momo Challenge" a while back was good example of how downright gullible people are, especially when it comes to emotional subjects.

Ya, first counts more than facts, unfortunately.
