I think I saw it was going to add less than $0.02 /lt.
Average fill up of 50/lt that would amount to $1....I know I know, it's the principle HaHa..

then there are the facts:
The federal carbon tax is increasing on April 1 despite the economic pain the coronavirus pandemic is having on Canadian workers and businesses.
That scheduled rise from $20 per tonne to $30 per tonne is in keeping with the plan to raise it by $10 per tonne each year until 2022. For consumers,
that translates to roughly an extra 2.5 cents per litre of gasoline at the pumps.

It's a sad state of affairs we are in.
Liberals are emptying the bank and laughing at the electorate.

Not everyone thinks he was a smart money president, and Republicans are not known to be fiscally responsible after elected, despite the rhetoric...

The LIEbrals have been gloating about the new Carbon tax... not much mention their pay goes up the same day too. Continued lockdowns, no plans at reopening, billions sent elsewhere without accountability... seems more like sabotage, damage the economy, debt etc. when the Conservatives come in and try to fix things blame them with more lies and more spending. Just look at the Newfoundland win, economy and debt in the toilet yet they kept spending to win.
The gov't debt to GDP is the worst it has ever been by far at 100.2% debt to GDP, you can see the horrendous swing after the 2015 win of the believer in magic budgets... maybe that's why it has been 2 years since they put one out.

Maybe Justlied's magic wand broke in 2019 or someone sent him to an economics course and it took him 2 years to figure the basics out.

Emptying the bank? We have nothing in the bank! We are well into burning everyone else's money with no way to pay it back. Wonder what they'll go after next ... CPP? Is that why the Liberals want to increase it?? LOL ... yet, we have members on here that think it's okay to support these idiots ... I guess they are okay with bankrupting countries. Nice!

Thats the plan of the radical left, many are cheering on the destruction of our economy, disarming law-abiding citizens, support of home grown terrorists to further their agenda of full control of the people.
