    Cool History videos.

Liberautomies won't learn and there is more and more lies and corruption every time I listen to anything but CBC and CTV so, what to do,vthe post on the 45-70 AR went history nuts so, how about we watch some videos. Pick your favourite historic (if you want sci-fi etc. start another thread, I can toss a few old Babylon 5 or Battlestar Galacticas on there) and I will start.

One of Canada's top aces on this video, Russ Bannock, he is credited with some V-1s too, think a 2000 lb flying tannerite!.

The most bombed place, Malta, where Canada's number 1 George Beurling did well.

and a "How to" videos, quite a few out there on things like the P-40 and this is the P-39

and a silent on the the Martlet before the US entered the war.

and the old string bag, a plane used on many anti-shipping raids, crippled the Bismark and clandestine missions. The Swordfish.

Thanks for sharing just haven't had time to watch them. During W.W.II my Grandfather on my Mother's side was a R.A.F. Navigator in Africa and my Grandfather on my Father's side was a Mechanic in the R.C.A.F in Goose Bay, that man could fix anything. Cheers!

Don't know how to post it but one of my favorite clips from you tube is The Original Spitfire Surprise Low Pass. Always get a laugh out of it.

In the tool bar 2nd from the right there is a "video" image, it will popup a window and you can just paste the URL into it.

I met Russ Bannock once - he lives in Oakville. My neighbor (Bill) was originally from New Zealand flew with him in the war. After the war Russ went to work for de Havilland Canada and was the first test pilot for the DHC-2 Beaver.

Both of these guys are true gentleman.
