    Default Stay at home order

I was planning on heading out to the deer camp to put up some trail cameras and fish the Rainy River before the closure on the 14th but the stay at home order put the kybosh on that plan ☹️. Just doing my part to reduce the risk of COVID.

So if I go later, fishing season will be closed and the ticks will be out and I’ll get Lyme disease. At least it’s not contagious lol.

I saw a post from someone I know, the ticks ARE out

She uses a vet spray, I have used a higher concentration and watered it down in a spray water bottle I found that taking 300mg of B1 in the morning and evening seems to inhibit them too.

exactly, they are in fact encouraging people to get outdoors for fresh air and exercise. If your smart at all, you pose no risk to yourself or anyone else. Cops aren't pulling people over to ask where your going.

Middle of no where by yourself. No safer place to be. COVID won't find you there.

Golf courses and gun clubs are open so going to your deer camp will be far less of an issue.

Another nurse has died but they are leaving out some crucial information . Some important information is missing that could make or break this story. So we are to stay home.

A couple of things stand out in the order:
    1) outdoor exercise is allowed
    2) no travel unless leaving the province
    3) going to a secondary residence (deer camp) is allowed if your stay is
less than 24hours or longer than 14 days

The order can be found here:
    http://https://files.ontario.ca/solgen_oreg265-21_2021-04-07.pdf

A complaint about the Order is that it is ineffectual because there are provisions that allow people to congregate e.g. going to Walmart etc, and enforcement is weak. The result is that many people decide to ignore the rules, or pick and choose which rules to follow, so the virus continues to spread. In my case, deer camp is 6 hours away and my intent was to stay for 3 days. I agree that if I went, the risk of catching and spreading the disease and the probability of getting caught is low. Regardless, I’ve chosen to stay home and will go at a later date.

I will definitely travel to my turkey spot on the 25th. Only an hour away but fact is you are only penalizing yourself if you chose not to participate in your outdoors recreational hobby.
