I have no problem getting the Vaccine and I will prefer the Pfizer. Why because it has been the most widely used, with the best results and the best data. I know four people that have had the Pfizer vaccine. No issues and extra toe or extra finger growing. My parents were suppose to get it this week but no Vaccines left right now, my wife is registered but has not had hers she has told them she will only take the Pfizer.

Hopefully I will get mine (Both on time, I don't believe in half jobs) before Nov as I want to go see my daughter's family (my two grand daughters).

But I will say at the current rate it is not possible to vaccinate every Canadian even by 2022.

Although I do enjoy this working from home.

    Speaking of vaccine results....

"The South African variant of the coronavirus is notably more adept at “breaking through” the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine than other variants are, Israeli scientists have found, in a first-of-its-kind real-world study."

"Israel has used the Pfizer vaccine almost exclusively to vaccinate millions of citizens, with a version by Moderna, based on similar innovative mRNA technology, used minimally."

"A team from Tel Aviv University and the Clalit healthcare organization sequenced the swabs of 150 Israelis who tested positive for COVID-19 despite having been vaccinated."

"In their study, the prevalence of the South African strain among vaccinated individuals who were infected despite their inoculation was eight times higher than its prevalence in the unvaccinated infected population."

"Though the number of such infections among the vaccinated was relatively small, the findings indicated that this variant was far more successful in getting through vaccinated individuals’ defenses than other strains."

Not sure your point, essentially your showing that it is very effective over all. You do realize that no Vaccine is perfect. Including all that exist now.

Watching the TV yesterday saying many of the vaccination clinics have closed, due to lack of vaccines available. At the rate of vaccination our country won't be fully vaccinated by the time others that have been vaccinated will be looking for their yearly re-vaccination.

Our federal government has failed Canadians miserably when it come to vaccine roll out and protecting Canadians. Maybe after another year or two of lockdowns the people will start to wake up how much of a failure Trudeau is.

Had the Pfizer vaccine yesterday in Ottawa. My wife is Metis so we used the City run Aboriginal clinic here. Sore arm for both of us this morning but she did have some pins and needles in her arm right after the shot and she was monitored at the clinic for about 45 minutes total and then set home with instructions.

Overall, well run clinic from registration to checkout. The Wabano Indigenous Center was there handing out snacks and water after the shots were administered.

Quite normal my wife gets a sore every time she gets the flu shot. Some people have reactions and some have none.
I'm someone who never gets any of the side affects (Knock wood) my wife gets them all.

How good is it there? Yesterday the UK, a country of 66 million people, had 2,505 new cases. Today, Ontario, a province with 14.5 million had 4,156.

Or, it could be said the virus has already run through most of the high density areas, leaving much of the population with natural immunity. There are 66 million people living on an island smaller than Ontario after all. They have around 4.5 million reported cases. As we found out in Canada last year, reported cases versus actual cases aren't even close. It was found to be about 4x higher than reported in Ontario through antibody tests. Look it up.

There are arguably more people in the UK with natural immunity than have been fully vaccinated, so let's not jump to conclusions about how effective it is yet.

Natural immunity doesn't always cut it. In fact being vaccinated doesn't always cut it but does help. You can still get chicken pox, measles etc but it is much rarer. Nothing is perfect.
