Your understanding (or lack thereof) of what an "anti-vaxxer" is is downright ridiculous, and if you wanted to tailor your responses you could have asked for PM's.

Have you had the shot? If yes then feel free to tell us how it went for you. If not then perhaps you might start a new thread where you and the doubters and/or uncertain can discuss the merits of "herd immunity," yoga gyms, steroids and other unrelated matters.

Here's an update, fully vaccinated people are still living under the same restrictions as the un-vaccinated. Nothing to see here, move along keep your mask on just because your vaccinated doesn't mean you can ignore restrictions.

Newsflash genius, you derailed your own thread when you posted your opinion on how well the vaccine is working in the UK in post #19. If you're going to post your OPINION on that matter, and not just discuss who got the shot and when and how you felt (as was the intent of your thread), then expect a rebuttal on your opinion if someone doesn't agree.

As for the shot, no I have not received it as I am currently ineligible at 45 years old. I may be contacted ahead of time as I work in food production, but I'll wait until more long term data on the available vaccines becomes available. There's no hurry on my end, I'm not concerned about catching the virus. Right now, it feels like I'm being coerced into taking the vaccine, so I won't.

I have had all the standard vaccines to date, yet you want to label me an "anti-vaxxer" because I question the panic/vs need for these covid vaccines. I passed on the H1N1 vaccine from a while back and I never get the seasonal flu shot as I've never had issues getting over colds or flu and I don't feel that I NEED a flu shot or covid shot. Maybe you think I do, but that's your issue not mine.

My post was to support information from a member who has who has been vaccinated about the potential benefits of getting the shot which the people who've received the vaccination might want to know.

I don't care whether you or anyone else gets the vaccine. My interest is in the process and experience of people who are getting the vaccine and very much appreciate the input from those who've been vaccinated and look forward to them returning with news on their second shot.

I haven't had the shot yet as I am waiting, my wife signed up but it is on hold due to not enough vaccines which Trudeau swore up and down would be here no later then March (after he lied about Feb). My parents in NB and Uncles in NS something all waiting as there are very few vaccines that Trudeau promised.

In my honest opinion Trudeau is now guilt of every covid death.

Supported with your opinion and speculation, which you deem unacceptable from anyone else in YOUR thread.

Anyway... I know quite a few people who have had the shot so far between my age (healthcare workers) and mid sixties. One, a woman in her early sixties, spent the day after in bed with a headache and fatigue, but most reported side effects have just been sore arm for a day. These are a few guys I know from work in their early sixties and they got the AstraZeneca. So far, I don't know anyone who has had both shots.

My parents are in their late 80s (88 and 86) and have had both. No issues. Neither of them have any health issues and still live on their own on the farm and both still drive so not sure they are the best sample.

My mom (81 yesterday) received her first dose March 7th, had an appointment booked then for around the 28th of March , was called and cancelled just 2 days before her 2nd shot. Now the powers that be , not the makers of the magic juice , have decided she can wait a lot longer then 21 days to receive her 2nd dose, not sure when that will be though.
