Has too much time on their hands
The good thing is, Erin wants to continue to work together with the polluters in this country to find solutions that reduce emissions. In some cases the process of reducing emissions create reusable byproducts, beneficial to industry. Something Trudeau is to stunned to understand.
I would rather have my tax decreased and see the polluters reduce emissions, than pay a higher tax and continue to achieve nothing.
Conservationists want results, not just a tax that achieves nothing.
We have them on here saying they don't mind paying more for fuel and everything else in life to help global warming.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Get $500 to put in your carbon account....ok...what do you do with $500 ? It’s a drop in the bucket in the purchase of an electric vehicle, and $500 will maybe get you one new window in your house- installed by a few government-approved contractors ....the conservative base is not going to like the govt collecting money, giving it back as a rebate and telling people what they can spend it on. This is a Liberal-lite policy.
The way its explained is like its a Air Miles point's system, the more gas you use at the pumps the more points you gain and then you can use those points to say buy a new gas furnace and burn more fossil fuels, sound's like its good for global warming if you want to increase it. LOL

Well I got bad news for you Erin just handed the Liberals a big club to hit him over the head with, hard to believe he could do this. Next week Biden and Trudeau are apparently going to announce much higher targets on carbon so even Liberal light will not cut it.

Well one would just have to look at their track records and ambitions, those two will club each other right out of office. People are getting tired of the doubling down on insanity.

It’s about the swing vote.
Say what you must to buy enough to win.
End of story.
