Great tip with that half round piece underneath. Basically it brings the block of wood level with the splitter lower portion. I will have to try that as I indeed struggled last week to lift the logs level when I was splitting in the vertical mode.
Great video!

Thank you! I shouldve leveled the splitter out better and it wouldve been easier. If you get it right. you could stick a knife in it and spin it like a bus steering wheel

It's been a while since I had to handle a piece that big, but you did it right. I have a pile of logs that were to big to lift last fall, so I'll give that tip a try. It's pretty hard to move some of them while on your hands and knees.
Thanks !!

Great tip.
As you get older you try to stay away from those monsters. Haha

No you get a skid steer with wood splitting attachment. It’s all done with the thumb from comfy seat lol

I got used to moving heavy objects years ago, now I can tell that I've picked up techniques. Gotta use the weight of em to your advantage. When they are upright, I roll them and I any that aren't flat all around, most likely I'll noodle them into quarters

If your supply is smaller diameter poles, you can get the full processor attachmen for the skid steer.
