    .
There are no benefits as of yet. Our PM has made it crystal clear in the house of commons, vaccines are not enough, we still have to maintain restrictions like wearing masks and distancing.

Not sure what your asking of the forum when vaccinated or not, the benefits do not change, only the chance of less severe symptoms if you get sick.

Our company just came out with a vaccination Thank You Program. Show proof of vaccination and receive a $350.00 bonus. That sounds good to me. Supposedly a bunch of different companies have started this program.

That's just asking for a lawsuit. Far too many reasons not to get a vaccine that are perfectly acceptable..i; any recovered Covid patients don't need a vaccine. That is why even the Village Idiot is backing down on making Passports a requirement..it will end up being a challenged charter issue.

Your first and last sentences in this post contradict each other. Not suffering the most severe symptoms is definitely a benefit.

To the topic-I have received my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine two months ago. The immediate sense of having done something that could benefit both myself and others was palpable. Soreness - but not at injection site. It was at elbow and shoulder. Mild headache. Very mild fever — just enough to keep me from passing screening at work — for about 36 hours.
I work within a Phase one setting. I have managed three different congregate care outbreaks that involved healthy people that followed IPAC measures. Unfortunately the real world does not — and we all have to travel to and from work, go out for groceries and live with our families (and by extension with everyone else they encounter)
Vaccination - to me - is one of the few things that I can control that can most likely make a difference.

I also have an 85 year old mother with diabetes and a heart condition that thinks Tucker Carlson is the world’s best journalist/news broadcaster. I fear for her.

I’ll check back in in early June after 2nd dose. My early March appt was postponed.

Well Tucker is better than most of what we have in Canada atleast, there are a few exceptions like Brian Lilley and a few others but the rest in Canada are just Tru-Annon cult worshippers.

Facts are just something the Tru-annon cult in the media in Canada won't use and as usual Justlied ignores the whole picture, fact Israel has higher vaccination rates and has been reducing restrictions.... that's why Justlied picked the UK. There are atleast 30 or 40 countries that have more vaccinated than Canada due to their incompetence but hey, facts and LIbErals.

I said you have a chance of less severe symptoms is all.

My wife has two employees off work, one is off work with both parents sick with covid and both having severe symptoms. Both have been fully vaccinated over a month ago.

If you really belive the vaccine are whats needed to get us out of this pandemic maybe you should hear what your PM has to say about the vaccine your taking. He has no faith that they will work and has no reason to lift restrictions on those who are fully vaccinated. You have more faith in vaccines than the government who is giving it to you.

The drug makers and our government dont agree with the amount of time in-between first and second shots required. The only reason is because our government has failed to acquire enough vaccine so the times of vaccination has severely increased.

Truth be told Vaccines are not enough, not my words, our PM's

I'd prefer to hear the facts from anyone but PM Silly Socks then make my own decision.

Why a lawsuit? If you don’t want to get a shot that’s your decision and they can’t to nothing about it. For those that choose to get a shot, you get a bonus. Nobody is forcing anyone to do anything they don’t want to.
