Default The Budget...will history repeat itself ?

Big Day for the Liberals...Chrystia even bought new stilettos for the occasion

    As Pierre Poilievre pointed out:

Today Trudeau will lock in permanently high deficits paid with printed $.
Back to the future. When his dad did this in early 80s:
    -Inflation: 12%
    -Unemployment: 12% (record)
    -Interest rates: 18% (record)
    -Suicide rate: 14.8/100,000 (record)
    -650,000 more people in poverty.
I remember those days with high interest rates....that should quell any 'economic recovery' coming out of the pandemic HaHa.

Yep, but sadly for Canada's future you can't fix budgets even with magic and lies. They require actual thinking and that is lacking.

It will be higher than that anyway, can't trust a Liberal based on their past budgets and promises.... they only missed by $100,000,000,000 on this promise (before COVID started).

I paid for my stuff on my own no government help. New Heat pump system last year, new windows and more to go. I'm not taking out any loans, I pay as I go.

Too bad it isn't a grant..... make sure there is a good food/water storage and discrete heating incase it is winter when the deck of cards collapses. When you look at a decade down the road, the debt they created... it is over $10K per person, ADDED, so each person's share of the gov't debt is likely close to $35K or $40K with this budget.... #WORSTPMEVER

Have to give it to the Liberals...they packed as many goodies as they could into a budget to give freebies to almost every left leaning teat feeder in the country.

The opposition will not be able to fight this budget without alienating voters they need. Touche..

So we will never see a balanced budget again and a debt that will be 50% of GDP for the foreseeable future.

Let's hope that when the housing bubble burst (and it will) people have enough savings to get them thru soaring interest rates.
