Manslaughter was the right charge here, he was guilty in my opinion. The other two charges were to prevent more protests, rioting and looting. Sad day for U.S.A.

The question has to be, did he accidentally kneel on his neck for 9 minutes. He meant to keep the pressure on, even after the guy passed out, that is no longer manslaughter as it was no longer accidental.
