As of 2021, he remains the last person to be executed by hanging in the United States.

That is not a lynching (which is what was being referred to by Gilly). That was a death sentence handed out by the justice system after a fair trial that was than executed by hanging. Lynching does not involve a fair trial it is mob justice without a trial based on gossip and hearsay.

The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

Gaddafi. Although he wasn't hung, he was put on display for the mob to further beat with sticks and rocks.

It is amazing how we always have to clarify our statements with the Lieberals
"A common perception of lynchings in the U.S. were hangings, due to their public visibility, which made it easier for photographers to photograph the victim. "
"Lynchings were in part intended as a voter suppression tool. A 2019 study found that lynchings occurred more frequently in proximity to elections, in particular in areas where the Democratic Party faced challenge"

Only you Canadaman could figure out that a beating of a Head of State in Libya is somehow connected to a lynching in the USA.

I don't think any of us need's any explanation of what a lynching is from a person who does not know the difference between a lynching and a lawful execution. Next.
