Limiting Inbound International Air travel
Well they finally got off their donkeys and are suspending inbound travel from India and Pakistan for 30 days. Marvelous. Did they suspend outbound travel, nope, so 31 days from now all that decided to go on "essential travel" will be coming back, probably infected.

Come on you silly people...the Village Idiot is part owner of the Airlines now...it's bad for business to stop them from flying. After all, he put in place the strictest quarantine rules in the world..he makes them promise to quarantine when the get off the virus infected airplane.
Like people who didn't give a crap in the first place and travelled to a Covid Hotspot during a pandemic will actually stay inside for 14 days when the return.

I posted this on another thread but thread is probably a better fit.
Wow, they slam the door on air travel from India, too many infected flights were arriving with a new virus strain. Sound like a remarkable thing that they've done. The fact is what our government is doing is actually aiding and abetting the spread of the virus with a co-conspirator the airline industry. For the next month or whatever, you can't fly directly from India into Canada. The remarkable thing is that does not appear to prevent anyone from taking an indirect route from India into Canada. You simply hop a flight for a country where there is no restrictions on flights to Canada and fly from there into Canada. If you have a number of asymptomatic carrier of the virus, with this approach the virus will eventually arrive and further spread in Canada. It appears that the PM of New Zealand understood this could happen, when she placed a moratorium on all flights into New Zealand. How could Mr. Trudeau have missed her lead on this matter?

they didnt solve anything with the india travel restriction. its only direct flights that are not allowed. you can easily get a indirect flight and still come.

Keep the golf courses closed and the international airports open. That should stop the spread.
