Yes a buddy of mine does that out in BC and he does a lot of cash jobs on the side, he doesn't do as much now but when he was younger I think his best year was 52K on the side.
Big money doing that kind of work

I was the one who actually trained who to use a chainsaw i College as I was helping to assist the instructors and was one of the trainers.

Noticed not a twig on the neighbours adjoining driveway...

That log could have brought in most of the cost to get it down...to bad it got chunked up. !!

I guess the tree when it fell pounded the ground enough to break the water pipe going into the house - if he had to do it over he would have cut off more pieces before dropping the whole tree

Fixing the water line isn't a biggy...must be fairly close to the surface.

Back in the olde days that tree would have been used by Her Majesty's Navy for a sailing mast.
