It is a slimy way to distribute the money to the big players all the while ignoring the independents.
Once they have the money in hand it is distributed internally as they see fit. No difference in the print / television reporting. Same propaganda content.

303 people under the age of 17 were admitted to the hospital and 48 needed the ICU. From the flu

By January 11 2019

6 kids under the age of 10 died from the flu.

I also found this chart interesting from the government of Canada site. Shows the hospitalizations, ICU and deaths from influenza flu.

It is a sad reality that children do die each and every year from various diseases.
The hospitals save a lot but not all of them.

The MSM is guilty of sensationalising these cases in pursuit of their goal of fear mongering.
When judgement day comes they will have no where to hide.

Agreed but the fear mongering on the anti COVID anti vaccine side is just as bad as the msm side

One side is people asking questions and looking for answers...the other has an agenda.

Here's a good example of MSM NOT printing or covering topics that go against the WHO/ Government recommendations.

MIT has been conducting research into the validity of the 6' social distancing. The results have been out for a few days and only a few independent newspapers and FOX have covered it. I haven't seen any Main Stream Media covering this story yet.

Based on their equations, the researchers concluded that staying six feet apart alone would not prevent the virus from spreading person-to-person because the virus-laden small respiratory droplets would already be everywhere in the air. Again, that’s because they are assuming that the air in the room would be well-mixed. In turn, the small, light aerosolized virus-carrying respiratory droplets wouldn’t quite behave like fart particles might. In other words, the small droplets wouldn’t just stay more concentrated near the source but instead quickly fan out so that they are equally distributed throughout the airspace of the room.

My son who is an HVAC & R mechanic started a business last year promoting sterilisation of duct work in commercial as well residential buildings utilizing banks of UV lights to eradicate viruses. Zero interest anywhere. Ford tossed money instead to LTC homes in order for them to replace the air filters on a regular basis. Something that was already being done.

More money in vaccines!

No not really. Not for an awful lot of them anyway. And I get people choose not to get a vaccine but I don’t understand the motivation to fear monger other to not get one
