    Default My Brother Died

Got some sad news this morning - my older brother Lou passed away from complications with kidney stones - he was my only brother - he was 90 years old - it makes me realize that as you get older the sand in the hour glass is running out - living until your 90 I guess is pretty good compared to others who die at a much younger age - my father was only 53 when he died - but it reinforces the fact that our stay on this earth is temporary and we should live it in such a way that we always do what is right - it is times like this that my faith brings me the blessed hope that some day I will see him again along with all of my loved ones who have made the journey -

Very sorry to hear that Joe. Your faith will get you through this. ( One of my brothers died at 17 and one at 21. I still think of them every night when I'm lying in bed.)

Condolences to you and your family,JoePa. Your words are very wise. It's a sobering reality we must all deal with that we have more days behind us than we have ahead of us.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....
